Practice is cancelled for Monday as coach needs to bring his daughter to the doctor. High school practice should still be going on - if they aren't at the track then they'll be up at the high school. You are welcome to join them if you wish. Coach Landry will be at the track on Wednesday to make up for missing Monday. Also, pole vaulters - Coach Smith, a great pole vault coach, will be at practice on Wednesday so this would be a great date to attend.
Scrimmage at Kent City on Thursday, April 7 10:00am:
All shotputters & long jumpers are invited to attend a scrimmage at Kent City on Thursday, as well as select runners. This is a high school scrimmage so our runners will be running against high schoolers from Sparta, Kent City, & Cedar Springs. Due to the nature of this event - only athletes from last season who have been approved by Coach Landry can compete in the running events. However, all shotputters & long jumpers are welcome to compete. This is a great opportunity to get some measured attempts in the two field events.
